MCX Copper futures are are in negative territory, lower by 0.49% at Rs 1417 per kg right now. The counter was down 0.22% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures slipped to an intraday low of Rs 1425 per kg today and have witnessed a 1.60% decline in the open interest. US equities are trading in negative territory with S&P 500 is modestly lower by 0.18% on the day.MCX Copper is slipping for two consecutive session.

In other metals, Lead is slightly higher by 0.13% at Rs 194 per kg, Nickel is marginally higher by 0.09% at Rs 1523 per kg, Aluminium is firmly lower by 1.75% at Rs 326 per kg while Zinc is down 0.89% at Rs 417 per kg.

MCX Zinc has risen around 1.72% in the last one week followed by Copper, which has edged up by 0.99%.
