MCX Gold futures are trading on a positive note today. The benchmark Dec-26 contract is higher by 0.04% at Rs 149599 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 149300-149990 per 10 grams.The counter has inched up 0.15% over last one-week.

Silver is down 0.26% at Rs 222297 per kg. The open interest in the counter surged by 5.74% to 18613 lots.

In global equities, US markets are expected to open in green. DOW futures inched higher 0.86%. In Europe, FTSE 100 edged up 0.59% and DAX Performance Index moved up 0.21%.
