MCX Copper futures are are in negative territory, lower by 0.27% at Rs 1423 per kg right now. The counter was down 0.19% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures touched an intraday low of Rs 1428 per kg today and have recorded a steep drop of 6.42% in the open interest. US equities are modestly higher with Dow Jones Industrial Average is inching up 0.45% on the day.MCX Copper is declining for third consecutive session.

In other metals, Aluminium is trading lower by 1.21% at Rs 331 per kg, Lead is down 0.56% at Rs 194 per kg, Zinc is trading slightly lower by 0.56% at Rs 420 per kg while Nickel is down 0.29% at Rs 1523 per kg.

MCX Zinc has gained around 2.79% in the last one week followed by Copper, gaining around 1.97%.
