MCX Crude Oil futures are firm in evening trade today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Oct-26 contract is higher by 0.87% at Rs 8958 per barrel. US equities are firm with Dow Jones Industrial Average is inching up 0.48% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 8998 per barrel today and have registered a sharp 3.83% reduction in open interest. MCX Crude oil is extending gains for third consecutive session. The counter inched up by 0.18% in the day session till 6.00 PM.

MCX Natural Gas is substantially lower by 3.19% at Rs 304 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 297-310 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter rose sharply by 32.30%.

Natural Gas has rallied 9.18% in the last one week while Crude Oil has eased around 0.39%.
