MCX Crude Oil futures are trading on a weak note today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Sep-26 contract is trading marginally lower by 0.10% at Rs 7960 per barrel. US equities are modestly higher with NASDAQ Composite is inching up 0.48% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 7989 per barrel today and have recorded a slight rise of 1.92% in open interest. MCX Crude oil is declining for two consecutive session. The counter edged higher by 0.58% in the day session till 6.00 PM.

MCX Natural Gas is sharply lower by 2.57% at Rs 276 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 272-282 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter soared 19.73%.

Natural Gas has gained 6.94% in the last one week while Crude Oil is down around 4.02%.
