MCX Gold futures are trading in positive territory today. The benchmark Sep-26 contract is marginally higher by 0.43% at Rs 158913 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 156982-159248 per 10 grams.The counter has is up 0.13% over last one-week.

Silver is sharply higher by 2% at Rs 246118 per kg. The open interest in the counter tumbled by 35.02% to 5835 lots.

In global equities, US markets are likely to open on a positive note. DOW futures edged up 0.20%. In Europe, CAC 40 climbed 1.04% and DAX Performance Index ticked up 0.50%.

MCX Copper futures are slightly higher by 0.58% at Rs 1388 per kg.
