MCX Copper futures are are trading on a weak note, down 0.40% at Rs 1376 per kg right now. The counter was down 0.13% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures slipped to an intraday low of Rs 1390 per kg today and have seen a sharp decline of 29.15% in the open interest. US equities are modestly higher with NASDAQ Composite is advancing 1.29% on the day.MCX Copper is down for two consecutive session.

In other metals, Lead is up by 1.20% at Rs 198 per kg, Zinc is trading slightly higher by 0.18% at Rs 440 per kg, Aluminium is marginally higher by 0.07% at Rs 344 per kg while Nickel is trading slightly lower by 0.56% at Rs 1623 per kg.

MCX Zinc has surged 10.10% in the last one week followed by Copper, up around 0.72%.
