MCX Copper futures are are in negative territory, lower by 0.37% at Rs 1383 per kg right now. The counter was down 0.68% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures slipped to an intraday low of Rs 1399 per kg today and have recorded a steep drop of 32.76% in the open interest. US equities are trading in negative territory with S&P 500 is modestly lower by 0.08% on the day.MCX Copper moving down for two consecutive session.

In other metals, Zinc is trading higher by 1.33% at Rs 431 per kg, Aluminium is down 0.89% at Rs 347 per kg, Lead is trading slightly lower by 0.58% at Rs 196 per kg while Nickel is trading slightly lower by 0.10% at Rs 1631 per kg.

MCX Zinc has climbed 7% in the last one week followed by Copper, which is up around 1.45%.
